A WORLD OF YES. God it always make me think of how in Asian dramas there's always this "ultracool" character who supposedly lived in America or is super smart and throws out these phrases in a really badly accented English and it's supposed to be cool except that it totally isn't. It makes me cringe just to think about it.
Why do directors think this is a good idea? Unless the actors actually know how to properly pronounce the words or at least know how to imitate the sounds to a good degree, they should just stick to a language they know.
