This streetcat that hangs out a lot in our backyard gave birth like a week ago. Everyone in my house is utterly obsessed with the tiny things. Yes, EVERYONE. No one can resist kittens.

My cousin keeps wondering why they keep hissing whenever we go pick them up though.

Well, obviously they're going to be scared. Imagine if, right now, a huge-ass hand just came and grabbed you by nape of your neck. You'd wet yourselves thinking it was the giant hand of freaking GOD coming down to smite you. These kittens are just chillin' like villains and then SUDDENLY this ginormous ham of a hand comes at them. Who wouldn't be terrified?

You'd DIE at how cute they are. I swear, normally I'm pretty uninterested in animals of any sort, but after spending an hour just GAZING at the little things, I think there's a burst of confetti where my heart used to be.

I REFUSE to be turned into the crazy cat lady...and, also, it's really hard to take quality pictures of them with my cellphone camera. IT DOESN'T CAPTURE THEIR CUTENESS WELL ENOUGH.
