hydkorea comm about how BOF is going to have a different ending from the manga. I guess people are wondering whether they'll actually change the ending OTP to JH/JD. I honestly doubt it. I don't know how much involvement the mangaka had with the script, but I doubt she'd be okay with them COMPLETELY changing the OTP. There's got to be something in her contract about that.
I've gone from being a rabid shipper to being vaguely amused to filled with curly-haired rage to being bored with BOF. If the writers can pull off a JD/JH ending, props to them. I still hope they redeem JP, but at this point, I don't know how they would go about doing that. I've read a lot about how some people think Ji Hoo's the better guy and how he should get Jan Di, but saying that he deserves her just because he's the better guy seems as stupid as saying that Jun Pyo should get her just because that's the way it's supposed to be. If she loves Jun Pyo, but realizes that he's kind of an asshat, and she likes Ji Hoo, but only as a friend, it's better if they just let her end up single. Because it doesn't matter who the better guy is. It's who she wants.
If they really DO change the ending to JH/JD---this is me not holding my breath--I hope the writers at least use some of those nifty skills they learned in Writing for Dramas 101 and make it seem like Jan Di picked JI Hoo because she's completely in love with him and not just because he's the nicer guy and he deserves her. I'd rather they just keep her single if they do that.
