Apparently, a live-action Full Metal Panic! movie is in the works. With Zac Efron as a potential lead...WHY, AMERICA?! WHY?! You've already sodomized my childhood memories with Dragonball: Evolution. Must you piss on my teenage memories as well? Zac Efron? Zac Fucking Efron? This is the biggest fail I've heard of since...THIS IS THE BIGGEST FAIL PERIOD.

I'm gonna go cry in a corner and wait until America is done raping my childhood. More rage later.

Keenu Reeves as Spike pissed me off and I wasn't even a big Beebop fan. I was a HUGE FMP! fan. I've been into that since sixth grade. Just the thought of Zac Efron as Sousuke is enough to make me nauseous. I'm sure the kid is nice and all in real life, but keep him the fuck away from my anime.

And how the hell are they going to make a white kid play a guy named Sousuke? I guess the same way they made a white kid play Goku and another play Aang.

I don't understand why they have white kids play these Asian characters. Is there a shortage of Asian Americans? Frankly why the hell do we even need live action movies? Ugh Hollywood how about trying to be a little creative?!

I think it's all about how big movie companies think that the audience won't relate to an Asian character as much as they would with a white character and that because of that, fewer people will go see the movie. Personally I think it's all racist bullshit because it implies that America is only made up of white people or that their opinion is the only one that matters.

I think all these live action movies are getting ridiculous. You have Dragonball, Avatar, Cowboy Beebop, FMP, Akira... I mean, Jesus Christ! When was the last time someone had an original idea in this country. Also, I think adapting Japanese anime for American audiences is something really hard to do. I mean, how many testicle jokes do you think are gonna come out of Dragonball?

Hollywood needs to gtfo. All of the releases for the next couple years are either live actions or remakes of Asian movies (just thinking about Will Smith as the main character in Oldboy makes me break out in hives). Why do they feel the need to rape Asia like this?! WHY?!
